Baldomero Asteri was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edson Mendes. Deivid Cavalcante succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Patrick Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ati Cabezudo in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Elpidio Jorrin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Olivedos's Patrick Miranda. Patrick Miranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Baldomero Asteri got control of the ball when Albertinho Cavalcante tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Maureo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Olivedos's zone, Elpidio Jorrin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Miranda came out of the goal and Elpidio Jorrin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Patrick Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Hotz in the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Olivedos's Patrick Miranda got control of the ball when Ati Cabezudo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Cavalcante in the 62nd minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Baldomero Asteri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gringo Atila to maneuver through the defense. Edson Mendes succeeded in the game's 65th minute to get real power on a long shot . Despidida AFC's Baldomero Asteri hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-1! After 67 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Hotz. Ulises Hotz's late challenge caught a Olivedos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Hotz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ulises Hotz hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Albertinho Cavalcante made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Asteri. Despidida AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 79 minutes into the match, Olivedos's Edson Mendes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Asteri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Leonel Maureo hit a great ball. Baldomero Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Mendes in the 93rd minute of play. Despidida AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Olivedos had won, even though Despidida AFC had held more of the ball.
