Honung's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Germán Alonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 17 minutes, Vergaray Jaraba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the Honung players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vergaray Jaraba to maneuver through the defense. Johnny Joensson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eneas Toxeiro. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eneas Toxeiro made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Jens-Erik Biörk sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute of the match Vergaray Jaraba shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdemar Granberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Santos was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Honung's Urban Lundqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eneas Toxeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Honung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Co I didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes, Co I mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honung and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Honung's Co I got a free kick in the 65th minute. Boca Juniors's Vergaray Jaraba got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Urban Lundqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Eneas Toxeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eneas Toxeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urban Lundqvist in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Germán Alonso hit a great ball. Dante Palacios kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Costante Verdaguer kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Eneas Toxeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Erik Biörk in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Honung getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jan Rein Cremona Barbaro hit a great ball. Sven-Erik Palmquist charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Erik Palmquist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Sven-Erik Palmquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vergaray Jaraba, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Honung had won after a very even match.
