Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Albertinho Cavalcante kicked off to start the match. Ulysses Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulysses Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edson Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Emerson Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Giovanni Pimenta got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 13 played minutes, Olivedos's Edson Mendes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emerson Leal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olivedos reached it. Emerson Leal came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Olivedos's Albertinho Cavalcante. But to his dismay, Albertinho Cavalcante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 24th minute, Edson Mendes made a precise shot to the right of Emerson Leal. Espigão Steamrollers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Edvaldo Lima hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Albertinho Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Olivedos booed when Espigão Steamrollers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Dário Viana. In the 41st match minute, Olivedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Braga to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match Válter Dantas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrick Miranda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Olivedos's Patrick Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Olivedos from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Carlos Paranaense to make the kick off. Deivid Cavalcante scored 0-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emerson Leal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute, Olivedos's Dário Viana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emerson Leal. Emerson Leal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 64 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Emerson Leal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deivid Cavalcante. In the 70th minute, Albertinho Cavalcante reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emerson Leal. The goal made the score 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Quirino during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Cristian Quirino got a free kick in the 78th minute. Emerson Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Mendes in the 86th minute of play. After 87 minutes, Sílvio Luiz Zanette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espigão Steamrollers and the Olivedos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sílvio Luiz Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Espigão Steamrollers's zone, Deivid Cavalcante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Leal came out of the goal and Deivid Cavalcante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Deivid Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Dantas in the 95th minute of the match. The Olivedos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
