The referee ignored Despidida AFC's protests and gave Atila Eduardov a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Despidida AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Primatas FC:s goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elpidio Jorrin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Jorrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Passos having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Atila Eduardov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Primatas FC. Gugu Leme stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baldomero Asteri. 1-2. Primatas FC's Kaká Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atila Edu in the 96th minute of play. Raimundo Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Asteri having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Primatas FC's Mma Brasil got a free kick in the 100th minute. During the 102nd minute of the match Albino Argider completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Albino Argider a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Primatas FC booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 102 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Argider didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Primatas FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
