Jens-Erik Biörk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Miranda having to interfere. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Wilian da Rocha hit a great ball. Honung's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven-Erik Palmquist in the 32nd minute. The corner led Honung's Sven-Erik Palmquist to fire away a dangerous shot which Patrick Miranda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 34th minute, Wilian da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Patric Ambjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pedrinho Prata fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olivedos's protests and gave Pedrinho Prata a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Pedrinho Prata got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes Honung got a freekick which was hit by Jan Rein Cremona Barbaro. After 42 played minutes, Olivedos's Edson Mendes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valdemar Granberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olivedos reached it. Tarcisio Oliveira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patrick Miranda firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albertinho Cavalcante to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio Oliveira came free, but Patrick Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar Granberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivedos. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Olivedos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
