The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Ali Atıf Uğural put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Trabzon Sk:s goal. Görkem Büyükada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Ortiz in the 40th minute of play. Sinan Ateş's late challenge caught a LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sinan Ateş helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Real Trabzon Sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sinan Ateş to maneuver through the defense. Washington Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Eddie Murphy sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eddie Murphy made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Real Trabzon Sk's goalkeeper Görkem Büyükada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Paulo Ortiz. An impressive performance by LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's Ademir Siqueira! 93 minutes into the game, İlkan Barlas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Trabzon Sk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC the free kick. A collision led to Real Trabzon Sk getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. İlkan Barlas hit a great ball. Sinan Ateş hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Real Trabzon Sk players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
