After 17 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Manole Muncelean. In the 21st minute, Mike Cai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paralia Athens fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 28 played minutes berretaweres got a freekick which was hit by Guido Šuler. Paralia Athens's Virgil Olariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Šuler in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute Ke Zhou Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the berretaweres defense, Mike Cai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gervasio Chuan. The berretaweres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervasio Chuan should have stopped the shot. Virgil Olariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho Redondo in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match berretaweres got a corner. Paralia Athens's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernandinho Redondo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Paralia Athens's goalie and right to Artur Adamski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Paralia Athens's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Ke Zhou Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Herminio Dorio made the kick off in the second half. Paralia Athens had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
