In the 5th minute, Mike Cai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Costel Neagoe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Mike Cai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franz Torres. Cats and dogs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mike Cai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Cats and dogs booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes, Cats and dogs's Ange Chatry shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgil Olariu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cats and dogs reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hocine Maret during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cats and dogs getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Hocine Maret hit a great ball. Franz Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Cai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Pascal Herrmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgil Olariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Mike Cai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paralia Athens fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Franz Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Cai in the 36th minute of play. Paralia Athens's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Costel Neagoe in the 37th minute. After taking down the ball on Paralia Athens's corner 柯洲远 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franz Torres quite easily take care of the ball. Manole Muncelean made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cats and dogs's Hubert Poiraud.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ange Chatry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Morgan Pla got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Paralia Athens's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Costel Neagoe in the 55th minute. The corner led Paralia Athens's Costel Neagoe to fire away a dangerous shot which Franz Torres despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Mike Cai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cats and dogs's Franz Torres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Costel Neagoe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franz Torres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Agostinho Moura hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Virgil Olariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ange Chatry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Taibo. Franz Torres came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paralia Athens's Mike Cai. But to his dismay, Mike Cai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 95 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's Mike Cai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franz Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Paralia Athens could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cats and dogs throughout the match.
