Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Maximiliano Dalmu made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 played minutes Black Rose 1979 got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Dalmu. In the 3rd minute, Nando Cando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Adrian Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Monzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nando Cando hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Caaguazu's Vincente Monzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Dalmu in the 16th minute of play. Vincente Monzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Reno in the 19th minute of the match. Vincente Monzon came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Rose 1979's Adrian Reno. But to his dismay, Adrian Reno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Maximiliano Dalmu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Dalmu in the 38th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Vincente Monzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by Tajo Barquerin. Vincente Monzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Dalmu in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Ordono came free, but Vincente Monzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincente Monzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Malvin in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute Mariano Ordono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Monzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Black Rose 1979 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Caaguazu's Mancio Rapela was substituted for Aurre Belorado. The wind increased when Valente Nieva made the kick off in the second half. Baldomero Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Faron in the 52nd minute of play. When Caaguazu's Conrado Faron in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Rose 1979's goalie prevented a goal. After 55 played minutes Caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by Cordareo Lazcano. Carlos Malvin's late challenge caught a Caaguazu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Malvin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Carlos Malvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Valente Nieva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caaguazu's supporters rose to their feet, but Valente Nieva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Guillem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's German Canado got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Adrian Reno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caaguazu's Vincente Monzon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Malvin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vincente Monzon came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Malvin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Caaguazu's Vincente Monzon got control of the ball when Carlos Malvin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Malvin got free with Vincente Monzon in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Conrado Faron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Guillem was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 75 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Malvin came free, but Vincente Monzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valente Nieva kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Maximiliano Dalmu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 80 minutes, Nando Cando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caaguazu and the Black Rose 1979 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Nando Cando got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Alonzo Oxel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincente Monzon skillfully saved the ball. Mariano Ordono could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Vincente Monzon made a huge save. Norberto Medardo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Caaguazu's Valente Nieva tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Baldomero Guillem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 minutes of play, Caaguazu's Mancio Rapela made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Guillem was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caaguazu succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Black Rose 1979 had controlled the match.
