In the 8th minute, Zbigniew Augustyniak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vincente Monzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Damazki in the 12th minute of play. Leonard Tomaszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valente Nieva in the 17th minute of play. Vincente Monzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Arendarski in the 18th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Caaguazu's Aurre Belorado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonard Tomaszewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 29th minute, Nando Cando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurre Belorado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Caaguazu's Vincente Monzon got control of the ball when Zbigniew Augustyniak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Tobiasz Olchowy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caaguazu's Mancio Rapela was substituted for Aurre Belorado. After the first half Caaguazu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wieslaw Arendarski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Zbigniew Augustyniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Monzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Nando Cando got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes, Tarnów™'s Tobiasz Olchowy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vincente Monzon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tarnów™ reached it. Vincente Monzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Augustyniak in the 59th minute of the match. Caaguazu's Vincente Monzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Augustyniak in the 63rd minute of play. Vincente Monzon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Damazki's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Valente Nieva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarnów™'s Leonard Tomaszewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute Zbigniew Augustyniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Monzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Arendarski in the 76th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Vincente Monzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Damazki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Vincente Monzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, German Canado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbigniew Augustyniak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincente Monzon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Vincente Monzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Augustyniak in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Psotka in the 88th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Vincente Monzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caaguazu's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
