In the 14th minute Sport Lisboa e Benfica were awarded a corner. Dominic Hahn went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Dominic Hahn got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sydney Barros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 15th minute Mario Gleason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aldo Maldonado fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sport Lisboa e Benfica's protests and gave Aldo Maldonado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Aldo Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinícius das Neves got free with Marco Beauchesne in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Granadero10's Tiago Sena was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Beauchesne in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Dominic Hahn fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sport Lisboa e Benfica's protests and gave Dominic Hahn a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Sport Lisboa e Benfica got a freekick which was hit by Marcellin Stoddard. 29 minutes into the match, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Sena came free, but Marco Beauchesne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Augusto Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Travassos in the 46th minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Marco Beauchesne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 49th minute Granadero10 were awarded a corner. Tiago Sena went to the cornerflag to take it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinícius das Neves was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Gugu Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Beauchesne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Sanford Descoteaux got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Granadero10's Tiago Sena got a free kick in the 61st minute. Gugu Travassos ran back to his position shaking his head. When Gugu Travassos fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granadero10's protests and gave Gugu Travassos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gugu Travassos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sport Lisboa e Benfica getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Foster Hirsch hit a great ball. Gugu Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Granadero10's Sydney Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Granadero10 from getting a goal against them. Marco Beauchesne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo de Lara in the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Sport Lisboa e Benfica got a freekick which was hit by Mario Gleason. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sanford Descoteaux during the 99th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sanford Descoteaux hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Granadero10 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
