Gérard Piqué took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilfredo Rodriguez. Pindobassu EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard and well directed shot from Gérard Piqué led 4 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Mert Kerdiğe got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Pindobassu EC got a corner. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mário Azevedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Pindobassu EC's Mário Azevedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Sefa Rahmet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sefa Rahmet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio Veiga in the 26th minute of the match. Erberk Tayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Rodriguez having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Mert Kerdiğe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dorian Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeff Beck to make the kick off. Sefa Rahmet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Vargas in the 53rd minute of play. Sefa Rahmet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Sefa Rahmet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeff Beck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sefa Rahmet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeff Beck in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Zekeriya Hür got a free kick in the 76th minute. The supporters of Pindobassu EC booed when 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zekeriya Hür didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilian Mendonça in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sefa Rahmet saved 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB from getting behind. After 81 played minutes 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Ali Burçak. After a rather tough play, Pindobassu EC's Nilmar Vargas got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Nusrettin Oran hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Sefa Rahmet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Hoffmann in the 93rd minute of play. Alessandro Pavard hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Mert Kerdiğe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
