If Bore Ristič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidko Bižal in the 13th minute of play. When NK FOLKROLA's Vidko Bižal in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Brice Carey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vidko Bižal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. After a rather tough play, NK FOLKROLA's Bore Ristič got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 30th match minute, NK FOLKROLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janos Šimnovec to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Fuentes in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Veselko Recko saved NK FOLKROLA from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Bryan Rosenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bore Ristič in the 37th minute of play. In the 45th minute Vidko Bižal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Carey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of NK FOLKROLA booed when Key Biscayne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roderick Higgins didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Fuentes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Key Biscayne FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Arturo Fuentes hit a great ball. Brice Carey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidko Bižal in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Key Biscayne FC's Roderick Higgins got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute of the match NK FOLKROLA got a corner. Key Biscayne FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Slavoljub Bukovec ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Key Biscayne FC's zone, Vidko Bižal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brice Carey came out of the goal and Vidko Bižal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, NK FOLKROLA's Bore Ristič sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brice Carey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vidko Bižal in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brice Carey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 played minutes Key Biscayne FC got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Rosenberg. In the 66thth minute of the game Vidko Bižal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Bore Ristič left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NK FOLKROLA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Bryan Rosenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Key Biscayne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryan Rosenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Veselko Recko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Janos Šimnovec kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Colin Kohler sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and NK FOLKROLA's Veselko Recko didn't even have to move. Key Biscayne FC's Bryan Rosenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Fuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veselko Recko having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brice Carey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the game, Colin Kohler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Key Biscayne FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NK FOLKROLA the free kick. In the 92ndth minute of the game Vidko Bižal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
