The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evandro Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tohias Jubera in the 14th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, WAU team's goal looked a bit too open when Beturian Mudarra came free, but Evandro Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to RACIN DE CHAWEN getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Beturian Mudarra hit a great ball. When Carlos Eduardo Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the WAU team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Eduardo Alagoano couldn't finish the play. After having played for 31 minutes, Nestor Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WAU team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Eduardo Alagoano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Goi Mondejar. RACIN DE CHAWEN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zahar Marquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Evandro Ortiz made a huge save. In the 45th minute Reyes Soler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

With his leg Goi Mondejar managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when WAU team's Claudinei de Alcântara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zahar Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Evandro Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Zahar Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 80 minutes of play, RACIN DE CHAWEN's Zahar Marquez made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evandro Ortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Goi Mondejar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Lara in the 89th minute. Evandro Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zahar Marquez in the 92nd minute of play. RACIN DE CHAWEN's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
