Spectators: 7686 (Terracing: 5806, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arturo Fuentes started the match with the kick off. Pindobassu EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mário Azevedo in the 5th minute. Pindobassu EC's Mário Azevedo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Brice Carey in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Brice Carey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovânio Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes of play, Pindobassu EC's Geovânio Veiga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brice Carey was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio Veiga in the 18th minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Brice Carey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Key Biscayne FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ramiro Burnham hit a great ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Geovânio Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindobassu EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovânio Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Geovânio Veiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Brice Carey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Pindobassu EC booed when Key Biscayne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Burnham didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Mário Azevedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brice Carey skillfully saved the ball. Colin Kohler hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Geovânio Veiga scored 0-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brice Carey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Key Biscayne FC booed when Pindobassu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Hoffmann in the 46th minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Brice Carey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Pindobassu EC were awarded a corner. Mário Azevedo went to the cornerflag to take it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Jeff Beck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Brice Carey made a huge save. Brice Carey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovânio Veiga in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Pindobassu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Rosenberg came free, but Wilfredo Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brice Carey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeff Beck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Geovânio Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brice Carey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeff Beck went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Alessandro Pavard struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Brice Carey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pindobassu EC. In the 78th play minute Jeff Beck came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Brice Carey. 0-7. Brice Carey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Azevedo in the 84th minute of play. If Wilian Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colin Kohler kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 96th minute Wilian Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Carey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Pindobassu EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Key Biscayne FC throughout the match.
