One of Key Biscayne FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Invictus FC:s goal. Key Biscayne FC:s Brice Carey showed great skill when he stopped Oswald Van den Panhuizen:s penalty. Oswald Van den Panhuizen did an outstanding performance 14 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Brice Carey in the goal. The supporters of Key Biscayne FC booed when Invictus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan De Smet didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Key Biscayne FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bryan Rosenberg hit a great ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Oswald Van den Panhuizen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Invictus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswald Van den Panhuizen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roderick Higgins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Candries having to interfere. Lennart De Keyser blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brice Carey having to make a save. In the 33rd minute Lennart De Keyser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Carey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart De Keyser came free, but Brice Carey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Lennart De Keyser sped through Key Biscayne FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brice Carey. Bram Huyghebaert charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bram Huyghebaert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Lennart De Keyser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brice Carey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Invictus FC's Lennart De Keyser got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brice Carey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sammy Cuejvers in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Lennart De Keyser ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brice Carey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart De Keyser in the 62nd minute of play. Sammy Cuejvers kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Invictus FC's Jamie van Elderen got a free kick in the 67th minute. Brice Carey made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Sammy Cuejvers sent off a good shot on target. Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart De Keyser in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart De Keyser came free, but Brice Carey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Key Biscayne FC defense, Lennart De Keyser kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brice Carey. The Key Biscayne FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brice Carey should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Tanner Fairchild in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Invictus FC's Jamie van Elderen. In the 83rd minute, Lennart De Keyser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brice Carey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart De Keyser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89thth minute of the game Lennart De Keyser who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Invictus FC's Jamie van Elderen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tanner Fairchild in the 91 minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Invictus FC's Lennart De Keyser ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brice Carey. Brice Carey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. With a little luck, Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey got control of the ball when Sammy Cuejvers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Invictus FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
