Goi Mondejar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, RACIN DE CHAWEN's Reyes Soler got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Gérard Piqué sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Goi Mondejar skillfully saved the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's zone, Xuaco Ramiréz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sefa Rahmet came out of the goal and Xuaco Ramiréz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Alim Akburç got a free kick in the 56th minute. Reyes Soler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB booed when RACIN DE CHAWEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tohias Jubera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 minutes of play, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Keramettin Tayfun made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Goi Mondejar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Sefa Rahmet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Reyes Soler took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Sefa Rahmet to make any attempt to save it. Erberk Tayman charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erberk Tayman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Erberk Tayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB defense, Beturian Mudarra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sefa Rahmet. The 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sefa Rahmet should have stopped the shot. Ted Rosario received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sefa Rahmet came out and tried to block the shot, but Ted Rosario slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 93rd minute. Sefa Rahmet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reyes Soler in the 97th minute of play. RACIN DE CHAWEN's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
