Claudinei de Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes WAU team got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei de Alcântara. After 38 minutes of play, America Futebol Clube SP's Nilton Sanches made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evandro Ortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caco Perez hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 69th minute, America Futebol Clube SP's Nilton Sanches ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evandro Ortiz. WAU team's Evandro Ortiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save WAU team from getting a goal against them.
