Teo Baert's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Veselko Recko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 9 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's Lennart De Keyser sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Veselko Recko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. NK FOLKROLA's Veselko Recko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save NK FOLKROLA from getting a goal against them. Veselko Recko was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Lennart De Keyser capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lennart De Keyser really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by NK FOLKROLA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oswald Van den Panhuizen was slow to take the kick. During this time Invictus FC's players had a chance to rest. Oswald Van den Panhuizen made a great header on Invictus FC's corner, it was just that NK FOLKROLA's Veselko Recko managed to reach the ball for a save. Anto Murg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Wannes De Tapp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Bore Ristič cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Wannes De Tapp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lennart De Keyser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Veselko Recko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Lennart De Keyser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veselko Recko having to interfere. Wannes De Tapp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bore Ristič in the 40th minute of play. Gürel Toktimur's late challenge caught a NK FOLKROLA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gürel Toktimur helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Invictus FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gürel Toktimur hit a great ball. Wannes De Tapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bore Ristič, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Lennart De Keyser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Veselko Recko made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute of the match Invictus FC got a corner. NK FOLKROLA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oswald Van den Panhuizen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Invictus FC's Oswald Van den Panhuizen to fire away a dangerous shot which Veselko Recko despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Veselko Recko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart De Keyser in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart De Keyser in the 57th minute of play forced NK FOLKROLA's goalkeeper Veselko Recko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Invictus FC's Wannes De Tapp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anto Murg in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Rino Alauf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wannes De Tapp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Krsta Sršen fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NK FOLKROLA's protests and gave Krsta Sršen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to NK FOLKROLA getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Krsta Sršen hit a great ball. Jamie van Elderen kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The NK FOLKROLA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Invictus FC's Wannes De Tapp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Invictus FC from getting a goal against them. Wannes De Tapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anto Murg in the 92nd minute of the match. NK FOLKROLA played a much better game than Invictus FC and deserved their victory. The Invictus FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
