The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Vágner Siqueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WAU team and the RACIN DE CHAWEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vágner Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, WAU team's Claudinei de Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goi Mondejar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramón Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xuaco Ramiréz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. RACIN DE CHAWEN's Goi Mondejar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei de Alcântara in the 27th minute of play. Ramón Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reyes Soler in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, RACIN DE CHAWEN's Reyes Soler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramón Neves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Zahar Marquez suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Umberto Pena during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, WAU team's Carlos Eduardo Alagoano got a free kick in the 42nd minute. WAU team's Ramón Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xuaco Ramiréz in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xuaco Ramiréz to strike the kick off in the second half. Goi Mondejar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Claudinei de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Xuaco Ramiréz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramón Neves. That made the score 0-1 in the 58 minute of play. In the 65th match minute, RACIN DE CHAWEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tohias Jubera to maneuver through the defense. RACIN DE CHAWEN's Goi Mondejar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Alagoano in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Umberto Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xuaco Ramiréz got free with Ramón Neves in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th match minute, RACIN DE CHAWEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tohias Jubera to maneuver through the defense. Uhin Pais hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Goi Mondejar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, Xuaco Ramiréz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramón Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. RACIN DE CHAWEN's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
