Dragoş Sălcudeanu took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pepijn Knol. Pepijn Knol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mugurel Cezar hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Martin Găvănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario van Zwieten in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Osdorp FC! 14 minutes into the game, Emerald's Albert Dășanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pepijn Knol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 18th minute, Claudiu Râznicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Găvănescu made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Bennie Anneese sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Emerald's Martin Găvănescu got control of the ball when Evert Roelofs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pepijn Knol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Manciulescu in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Emerald's Dragoş Sălcudeanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pepijn Knol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 26th minute, Dragoş Sălcudeanu made a precise shot to the right of Pepijn Knol. Osdorp FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 34 minutes into the game, Isac Manciulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Pepijn Knol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Marin Bârza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Emerald fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Emerald's Mugurel Cezar got his second yellow card of the match in the 43rd minute. The referee ordered Mugurel Cezar off the ground. In the 43rd match minute, Emerald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugurel Cezar to maneuver through the defense. The Osdorp FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Emerald were winning 0-7.

In the 52nd minute Marin Bârza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepijn Knol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragoş Sălcudeanu took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pepijn Knol. Pepijn Knol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. In the 58th minute, Flavius Stoicea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pepijn Knol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Albert Dășanu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Evert Roelofs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Martin Găvănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavius Stoicea struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Pepijn Knol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emerald. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Bârza in the 82nd minute of play forced Osdorp FC's goalkeeper Pepijn Knol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragoş Sălcudeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepijn Knol having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Osdorp FC got a freekick which was hit by Gijs Evenhuis. 87 minutes into the match, Osdorp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Bârza came free, but Pepijn Knol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute of the match, Dragoş Sălcudeanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pepijn Knol was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pepijn Knol didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-10.
