Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Diculescu to make the kick off. Emerald's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Grodzka the free kick. In the 64th minute of the match Maksymilian Wolicki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Găvănescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Maximo Ugutz fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Grodzka's protests and gave Maximo Ugutz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Maximo Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Maksymilian Wolicki made a precise shot to the right of Martin Găvănescu. Emerald's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Emerald made a substitution. Nechifor Ilie replaced Sorin Jitaru. The FC Grodzka players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
