Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Nemesio Bernal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Carlos Froila hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Emerald's Cristian Diculescu got a free kick in the 18th minute. Martin Găvănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Corderun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute of the match Prudencio Claus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Găvănescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nemesio Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Claudiescu in the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pakorro AFC's Augusto Chorche got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pakorro AFC's goalkeeper Nemesio Bernal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ulises Ilixo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pakorro AFC's protests and gave Ulises Ilixo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Pakorro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Ilixo to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes, Elpidio Mino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pakorro AFC and the Emerald players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Diculescu's late challenge caught a Pakorro AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Diculescu helped the player get up and apologised. Marcos Pabla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Găvănescu having to interfere. Pakorro AFC's Nemesio Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Diculescu in the 47th minute of play.

Emerald's Nechifor Ilie was substituted for Sorin Jitaru. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Rocio to make the kick off. Basarab Tâlvescu charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Manciulescu in the 75th minute of play forced Pakorro AFC's goalkeeper Nemesio Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pakorro AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
