Taco Roorda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Diculescu in the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Emerald booed when Osdorp FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario van Zwieten didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sandu Claudiescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Onișoru in the 25th minute of play forced Osdorp FC's goalkeeper Taco Roorda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cristian Diculescu came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Emerald fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Diculescu couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Osdorp FC's goalkeeper Taco Roorda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Diculescu. In the 32nd minute Sandu Claudiescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Roorda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Osdorp FC's Evert Roelofs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Găvănescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cristian Diculescu struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Taco Roorda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emerald. Taco Roorda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Onișoru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Taco Roorda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Manciulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Cristian Diculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes Osdorp FC got a freekick which was hit by Evert Roelofs. 61 minutes into the match, Osdorp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Claudiescu came free, but Taco Roorda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Diculescu during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 played minutes Emerald got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Diculescu. Osdorp FC's Taco Roorda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Claudiescu in the 75th minute of play. Sandu Claudiescu scored 1-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Taco Roorda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Emerald's goalkeeper Martin Găvănescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert Roelofs. Taco Roorda came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Emerald's Sandu Claudiescu. But to his dismay, Sandu Claudiescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Taco Roorda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Claudiescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
