José Augusto de Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Arne Grubb's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The audience was convinced that Sven-Arne Grubb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Augusto de Godoi was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Kaká Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaká Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerry Felin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Torsten Ahlén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the AF CERRADO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Annedal FC.
