Renatinho Leal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Glauco Velloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Renatinho Leal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. The audience was convinced that Didi Gaúcho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glauco Velloso was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renatinho Leal got free with Glauco Velloso in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Glauco Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Glauco Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Goiano in the 28th minute of play. Teodoro Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto de Godoi having to interfere. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Pedro Cearense hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as AF CERRADO's Kaká Goiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Glauco Velloso. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. Glauco Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaká Goiano was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaká Goiano in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glauco Velloso saved Shark FC - FSCMZ from getting behind. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Glauco Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Goiano in the 61st minute of play. Glauco Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaká Goiano's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Kaká Goiano took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glauco Velloso. Glauco Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 4-0 became the score in the 67th minute when Kaká Goiano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Percival Matorin hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Kaká Goiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glauco Velloso. Shark FC - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaká Goiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. José Augusto de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Bezerra in the 77th minute of play. David Sharkin kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Renatinho Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AF CERRADO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 86 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Aparecido. Glauco Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaká Goiano went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Teodoro Bezerra's late challenge caught a AF CERRADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Shark FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Bezerra. 94 minutes into the match, Shark FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Goiano came free, but Glauco Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AF CERRADO had played much better football throughout.
