In the 17thth minute of the game Kaká Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but alvarado's Martin Romelio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Kaká Goiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Romelio was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th match minute, alvarado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Tano to maneuver through the defense. After 38 minutes of play AF CERRADO's Renatinho Leal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Renatinho Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Aquilino Txartiko made a precise shot to the right of José Augusto de Godoi. AF CERRADO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. AF CERRADO's Didi Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Didi Gaúcho to make the kick off. Martin Romelio stood somewhat misplaced when Kaká Goiano came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 55 minute. José Augusto de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Bordat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by AF CERRADO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evaristo Lorenz was slow to take the kick. During this time alvarado's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Evaristo Lorenz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Augusto de Godoi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Didi Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Didi Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Romelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. alvarado made a substitution. Justo Udalaitz replaced Jonas Tano. After 69 minutes of play, AF CERRADO's Kaká Goiano made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Romelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Romelio came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by AF CERRADO's Jefferson Aparecido. But to his dismay, Jefferson Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. alvarado's Albino Sesuldo was substituted for Abel Bordat. 86 minutes into the game, Evaristo Lorenz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. alvarado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AF CERRADO the free kick. In the 86th match minute, alvarado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Lorenz to maneuver through the defense. Martin Romelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Goiano in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, alvarado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Garoa to maneuver through the defense. Martin Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 95th minute Kaká Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
