After a rather tough play, Annedal FC's Torsten Ahlén got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Jago Ballesteros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerry Felin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Daniel Wickander struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Jerry Felin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sundens BK. After having played for 14 minutes, Daniel Wickander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Wickander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jago Ballesteros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerry Felin was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Daniel Wickander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Sajeev Rajah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Felin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Säv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Ahlén, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Per-Olof Söderqwist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sundens BK! When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Annedal FC's Åke Gunnarsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wilhelm Säv. 41 minutes into the match, Annedal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Wickander came free, but Jerry Felin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sundens BK booed when Annedal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Kilström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torsten Ahlén made a kick off. Jerry Felin came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sundens BK's Daniel Wickander. But to his dismay, Daniel Wickander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 56 minutes into the match, Annedal FC's goalkeeper Jerry Felin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Wickander. A collision led to Annedal FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Per-Olof Söderqwist hit a great ball. Torsten Ahlén struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Wilhelm Säv didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Annedal FC. Annedal FC's Sven-Arne Grubb was substituted for Per-Olof Söderqwist. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Jerry Felin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Sundens BK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
