In the 19th minute of the match, Jan Pająk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Martin Romelio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 22nd minute of the match Abandon All Hope got a corner. alvarado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antoni Adamowicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Abandon All Hope's Antoni Adamowicz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Martin Romelio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 23 played minutes alvarado got a freekick which was hit by Donato Ihintza. Ye Hong struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Martin Romelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abandon All Hope. Braulio Laurentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ye Hong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Romelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Donato Ihintza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meng Yan Jing having to interfere. Abel Bordat's late challenge caught a Abandon All Hope's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Bordat helped the player get up and apologised. Abel Bordat kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Jan Pająk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but alvarado's Martin Romelio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Abandon All Hope fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Abandon All Hope's Jan Pająk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
