Kaká Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Augusto de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Bordat in the 7th minute of play. Donato Ihintza's late challenge caught a AF CERRADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Ihintza helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, alvarado's Donato Ihintza got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Kaká Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Martin Romelio. alvarado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Garoa during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, alvarado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Garoa to maneuver through the defense. Martin Romelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Didi Gaúcho's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Martin Romelio stood somewhat misplaced when Kaká Goiano came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 23 minute. In the 27th minute, Kaká Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Aquilino Txartiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, AF CERRADO's Kaká Goiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Romelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Kaká Goiano took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Martin Romelio to make any attempt to save it. AF CERRADO's Kaká Goiano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A hard shot 43 in the game by Kaká Goiano from a close distance when the talented Martin Romelio managed to make a qualified save. alvarado's players were relieved. A collision led to alvarado getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Aquilino Txartiko hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kaká Goiano made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Didi Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Didi Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká Goiano in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Romelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artur Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Martin Romelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaká Goiano's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. AF CERRADO's Kaká Goiano got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, alvarado's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Goiano came free, but Martin Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Kaká Goiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Romelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. If Abel Bordat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes, Abel Bordat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the alvarado and the AF CERRADO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abel Bordat hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Gaúcho in the 93rd minute of play forced alvarado's goalkeeper Martin Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AF CERRADO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
