With a little luck, AF CERRADO's José Augusto de Godoi got control of the ball when Michal Arendarski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abandon All Hope were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after AF CERRADO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antoni Adamowicz took the corner. AF CERRADO's José Augusto de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save AF CERRADO from getting a goal against them. After 31 minutes, Lucjan Borczak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abandon All Hope and the AF CERRADO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucjan Borczak hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká Goiano in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Meng Yan Jing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kaká Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the AF CERRADO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaká Goiano couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Izydor Filipkowski came free, but José Augusto de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meng Yan Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Gaúcho in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match AF CERRADO got a corner. Abandon All Hope's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Richard Travassos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AF CERRADO's corner Richard Travassos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Meng Yan Jing quite easily take care of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Michal Arendarski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AF CERRADO's José Augusto de Godoi. José Augusto de Godoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaká Goiano to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaká Goiano got free with Meng Yan Jing in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Michal Arendarski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Augusto de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Arendarski in the 64th minute of the match. José Augusto de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Filipkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Filipkowski in the 68th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper José Augusto de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Augusto de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Arendarski in the 69th minute of the match. Artur Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. AF CERRADO's José Augusto de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Filipkowski in the 74th minute of play. Pedro Cearense hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Abandon All Hope's Antoni Adamowicz tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Michal Arendarski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Augusto de Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
