Gracie Barra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Augusto Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modesto Santikurtz was a little too slow when Aílton Mota got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 26th minute, Maximiliano Lleir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Gracie Barra's Modesto Santikurtz threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Augusto Queiroz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 31 minutes into the game, Diego Eterno's Segundo Urbez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Emanuel Sindo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Gracie Barra's Diego Queirós. Diego Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Modesto Santikurtz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando do Valle went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Emanuel Sindo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Diego Eterno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Mirande to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Diego Eterno's Esteve Mirande got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 68 minutes, Maximiliano Lleir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diego Eterno and the Gracie Barra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diego Queirós was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emanuel Sindo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 81 minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, Gracie Barra's Orlando do Valle made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Santikurtz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute Carlos Augusto Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Santikurtz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Gracie Barra lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
