Spectators: 7730 (Terracing: 5799, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hortêncio Senna took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Castel in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrão Sarmento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 4 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Otsoa. The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Alexsandro Alvarenga put in a rough tackle. In the 7th minute, one of Vista Alegre FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vista Alegre FC. Vista Alegre FC:s Pedrão Sarmento showed great skill when he stopped Jorge Rinaldi:s penalty. Pedrão Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Castel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Aristides Castel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SAN LORENZO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pedrão Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Erviti, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Aristides Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão Sarmento having to interfere. Aristides Castel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedrão Sarmento having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Aristides Castel made the kick off in the second half. Pedrão Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Castel in the 53rd minute of the match. Vista Alegre FC's Pedrão Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Castel in the 55th minute of play. The throw-in from Dráuzio de Alcântara in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SAN LORENZO FC's Gerardo Gonza. Pedrão Sarmento was a little too slow when Aristides Castel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 70th minute, Paulo Renato Dracena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedrão Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Jenaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by João Penha. When the final whistle sounded SAN LORENZO FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vista Alegre FC.
