Leopoldo Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ricardo Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Limoeiro-PE FC's Ricardo Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvarez Håland in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alvarez Håland made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Yakov Abramov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limoeiro-PE FC the free kick. A collision led to Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Danilo Perfecto hit a great ball. After 65 minutes, Cacá Arósio made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Hachem Ludueña tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cheito Molek might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hachem Ludueña. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cheito Molek ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Raphael Borges got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Limoeiro-PE FC's Kerem Gol was substituted for Cacá Arósio. Limoeiro-PE FC made a substitution. Jorge Secco replaced Cafu Nóbrega. Raphael Borges hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Jorge Secco's late challenge caught a Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Secco helped the player get up and apologised. 82 minutes into the match, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Koban came free, but Hachem Ludueña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute of the game, Dalmacio Mikolas landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Cheito Molek charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cheito Molek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheito Molek to maneuver through the defense. Andres Guerau took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Carneiro. Ricardo Carneiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. After some careless play in the Limoeiro-PE FC defense, Alvarez Håland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Carneiro. The Limoeiro-PE FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Carneiro should have stopped the shot. Andres Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Carneiro having to interfere. Bebeto Lucas hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
