Spectators: 7736 (Terracing: 5803, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) SK Dreigoten's Luukas Van Halbeeck started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eustratios Vertsotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cedric Van Landewijck in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Cedric Van Landewijck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympiacos FC's Eustratios Vertsotis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Luukas Van Halbeeck notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Olympiacos FC's Eustratios Vertsotis. Eustratios Vertsotis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 8th minute, Dimitris Koudas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markos Kareklopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Maerschalcx having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Thanos Panagiotatos. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Luukas Van Halbeeck sped through Olympiacos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eustratios Vertsotis. With a little luck, SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx got control of the ball when Dimitris Koudas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Cedric Van Landewijck put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Eustratios Vertsotis. In the 24th minute Alexis Dellios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Maerschalcx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jo Maerschalcx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Dellios in the 26th minute of the match. Olympiacos FC's Panos Loukas suffered a sore knee after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lex Haesevoets charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lex Haesevoets the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olympiacos FC's Takis Nestoriou was substituted for Panos Loukas. Lex Haesevoets kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Jo Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markos Kareklopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Van de Velde kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Jo Maerschalcx made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Dimitris Koudas sent off a good shot on target. Eustratios Vertsotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Qvalfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jules Van Beringhen kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. With 42 minutes on the clock, Miltiadis Tsiranidis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Georges Van Der Talen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th match minute, SK Dreigoten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luukas Van Halbeeck to maneuver through the defense. After the first half SK Dreigoten were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexis Dellios was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Olympiacos FC's Eustratios Vertsotis got control of the ball when Luukas Van Halbeeck tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 55 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Takis Nestoriou. 60 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Eustratios Vertsotis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Qvalfeldt. SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Koudas in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes SK Dreigoten got a freekick which was hit by Jules Van Beringhen. 73 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goal looked a bit too open when Markos Kareklopoulos came free, but Jo Maerschalcx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cedric Van Landewijck fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Dreigoten's protests and gave Cedric Van Landewijck a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes SK Dreigoten got a freekick which was hit by Cedric Van Landewijck. After a rather tough play, Olympiacos FC's Grigoris Plexioudas got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 88 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Per Qvalfeldt came free, but Eustratios Vertsotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jo Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Koudas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustratios Vertsotis came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by SK Dreigoten's Luukas Van Halbeeck. But to his dismay, Luukas Van Halbeeck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5.
