Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Palmiro Picasso in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yalçın Olgunay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 35 minutes of play, Pau Nas Canelas's Edinho Moraes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yalçın Olgunay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artun Şenyurt made a kick off. With a little luck, Blue Mountain State's Yalçın Olgunay got control of the ball when Christoph Haßelmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, Pau Nas Canelas's Ludomir Barna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yalçın Olgunay. Yalçın Olgunay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After 61st play minutes Edinho Moraes shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Yalçın Olgunay and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Blue Mountain State booed when Pau Nas Canelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Sasoin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Nuralp Şahinkan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bai Chao Zheng skillfully saved the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Yalçın Olgunay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edinho Moraes. Ludomir Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Yalçın Olgunay made a huge save. Yalçın Olgunay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséas Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Edinho Moraess short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Yalçın Olgunay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yalçın Olgunay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoph Haßelmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edinho Moraes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yalçın Olgunay came out and tried to block the shot, but Edinho Moraes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 93rd minute. Pau Nas Canelas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
