KV Schoonwater's Artur Sterckmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhsin Taze in the 87th minute of play. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Ivo Streels replaced Mattias Vanden Driessche. KV Schoonwater's Primitivo Formerio was substituted for Armand Hemeleers. After 90 played minutes Blue Mountain State got a freekick which was hit by Sakut Sendur. 91 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Yalçın Olgunay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gillis Lembrechts. In the 93rd match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jos Lefebre to maneuver through the defense.
