In the 34th match minute, Attard Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrence De Marco to maneuver through the defense. Amadeo Rapinett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Haßelmann in the 38th minute of play. Attard Gunners's Amadeo Rapinett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinho Moraes in the 39th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Attard Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Demanuele. In the 46th minute, Lawrence De Marco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edinho Moraes made a kick off. Edinho Moraes struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Amadeo Rapinett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pau Nas Canelas. Christoph Haßelmann in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amadeo Rapinett, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Christoph Haßelmanns short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Amadeo Rapinett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christoph Haßelmann got free with Amadeo Rapinett in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pau Nas Canelas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lech Biraga in the 56th minute. Lech Biraga made a great header on Pau Nas Canelas's corner, it was just that Attard Gunners's Amadeo Rapinett managed to reach the ball for a save. Montrel Blazquez charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Montrel Blazquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute Lawrence De Marco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bai Chao Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Rapinett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Moraes in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Edinho Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rapinett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoph Haßelmann hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Amadeo Rapinett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christoph Haßelmann. After 80 minutes Attard Gunners's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lech Biraga who took care of the corner kick. Pau Nas Canelas's Lech Biraga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amadeo Rapinett in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 83rd minute, Angelo Incorvaia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Christoph Haßelmann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amadeo Rapinett. Christoph Haßelmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 96th minute, Lawrence De Marco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attard Gunners made a substitution. Robert Gera replaced Thomas Zrinzo. After 97 played minutes Attard Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Lawrence De Marco. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pau Nas Canelas players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
