Spectators: 7747 (Terracing: 5812, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edinho Moraes kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Edinho Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pau Nas Canelas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 11thth minute of the game Edinho Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KV Schoonwater's Artur Sterckmans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goalkeeper Bai Chao Zheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxime Caes. With a little luck, Pau Nas Canelas's Bai Chao Zheng got control of the ball when Maxime Caes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artur Sterckmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Edinho Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Sterckmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivo Streels charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivo Streels the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivo Streels kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. William Ahlqvist hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Lech Biraga, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Avelino Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Armand Hemeleers came free, but Bai Chao Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Constant Van den Gans. In the 31st minute, Lech Biraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bai Chao Zheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gillis Lembrechts in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Perry Huygens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lech Biraga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Artur Sterckmans. KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Artur Sterckmans came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Pau Nas Canelas's Christoph Haßelmann. But to his dismay, Christoph Haßelmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the KV Schoonwater defense, Edinho Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Sterckmans. The KV Schoonwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Sterckmans should have stopped the shot. Ludomir Barna hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinho Moraes in the 47th minute of play forced KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Artur Sterckmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gillis Lembrechts made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Gillis Lembrechts notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Pau Nas Canelas's Bai Chao Zheng. Bai Chao Zheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edinho Moraes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Artur Sterckmans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Artur Sterckmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Edinho Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Sterckmans was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. 67 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Gillis Lembrechts came free, but Bai Chao Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KV Schoonwater's Artur Sterckmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomir Barna in the 72nd minute of play. Bai Chao Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gillis Lembrechts in the 74th minute of play. Palmiro Picasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Artur Sterckmans made a huge save. Christoph Haßelmann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artur Sterckmans came out and tried to block the shot, but Christoph Haßelmann slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Edinho Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Edinho Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Artur Sterckmans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, KV Schoonwater's Artur Sterckmans got control of the ball when Christoph Haßelmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute, Pau Nas Canelas's Montrel Blazquez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Montrel Blazquez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pau Nas Canelas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Montrel Blazquez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pau Nas Canelas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
