Kobe Vanneste helped the player get up and apologised. Kobe Vanneste kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Ermegildo Eufemio charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Eufemio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Celestiales getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ermegildo Eufemio hit a great ball. Isidoro Lop kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Isaias Beliran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kobe Vanneste in the 9th minute of the match. Isaias Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Stroobans, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Guido Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guido Izotz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Gert-Jan Van de Velde when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Guido Izotz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gert-Jan Van de Velde was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Celestiales were awarded a corner. Isidoro Javiero went to the cornerflag to take it. 22 minutes into the game, Ramon Caniggia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Keikoppers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Celestiales the free kick. The supporters of Celestiales booed when De Keikoppers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Caniggia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Ermegildo Eufemio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Celestiales getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Rigoberto Cristofor hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ramon Caniggia managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Keikoppers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Caniggia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Beliran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Celestiales's Isidoro Lop got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guido Izotz in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gert-Jan Van de Velde saved De Keikoppers from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guido Izotz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Izotz in the 57th minute of play forced De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Gert-Jan Van de Velde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Caniggia got free with Isaias Beliran in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Celestiales's Severino Gaskon got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When Severino Gaskon came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Celestiales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Gaskon couldn't finish the play. Celestiales's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
