With an all-out effort, Alzaga FC's Marcel Chiriță threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Salvador Quirze, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Salamon got free with Marcel Chiriță in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 39 minutes, Placido Lia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alzaga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Lia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Marcel Chiriță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Lia in the 51st minute of play. Marcel Chiriță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Lia in the 78th minute of the match. Alex Rușanu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Lv Si Hao fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s protests and gave Lv Si Hao a yellow card for diving instead. Lv Si Hao hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The supporters of Alzaga FC booed when ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Stanciu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
