But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codruț Enache couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorel Negara in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Donnarumma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gianluigi Donnarumma was a little too slow when Dorel Negara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-1. After some careless play in the Pryaporets defense, Rareș Lucian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gianluigi Donnarumma. The Pryaporets fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gianluigi Donnarumma should have stopped the shot. Rareș Lucian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Gianluigi Donnarumma made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Huben Simchev during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Huben Simchev hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Pryaporets's Simo Morfov was substituted for Gyuro Gúrdanov. A collision led to Pryaporets getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gianluigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Lucian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horea Cârțan charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horea Cârțan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Horea Cârțan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rareș Lucian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Donnarumma having to interfere.
