When Cristinel Andronescu fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s protests and gave Cristinel Andronescu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of HFA FC booed when ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Andronescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Chiriță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Araoz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gabriel Chiriloaie showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. Gabriel Chiriloaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Araoz having to interfere. Christian Araoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Deckkers in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Steve Deckkers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Araoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Araoz came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Steve Deckkers. But to his dismay, Steve Deckkers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Steve Deckkers looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 39th minute Cristinel Andronescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Araoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Esdras in the 40th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Marcel Chiriță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Araoz was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Steve Deckkers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Steve Deckkers really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. 46 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Savion came free, but Marcel Chiriță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, HFA FC's Godofredo Gaizko got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a defensive mix-up in HFA FC's zone, Ion Cucerzan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Araoz came out of the goal and Ion Cucerzan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Chiriloaie was the one to do the kick off. Christian Araoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lv Si Hao in the 53rd minute of the match. Benjamin Abarca might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel Chiriță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Abarca ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the game, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Cristinel Andronescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Araoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 58th minute, Gilberto Fonda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Araoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Deckkers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes of play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Steve Deckkers made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Araoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the HFA FC defense, Steve Deckkers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Araoz. The HFA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Araoz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Deckkers in the 84th minute of play forced HFA FC's goalkeeper Christian Araoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. HFA FC's Christian Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Chiriloaie in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute Benjamin Abarca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Chiriță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the HFA FC defense, Steve Deckkers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Araoz. The HFA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Araoz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Bănățeanu in the 94th minute of play forced HFA FC's goalkeeper Christian Araoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
