Bernabe Oto started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Restu got free with Jorge Nesto in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute Pedro Salamon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Maurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, PINGO PINGO's Teodosio Ayala got a free kick in the 13th minute. The supporters of PINGO PINGO booed when Alzaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Fernández didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Alzaga FC's Celedonio Erdiano got a free kick in the 21st minute. Alzaga FC's Jorge Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Oto in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Quirze during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, PINGO PINGO's Desiderio Restu got a free kick in the 28th minute. Virgilio Ibañez lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 33rd minute, Placido Lia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salvador Quirze hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Salamon in the 44th minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Serafin Maurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Placido Lia made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Tiburcio Quintun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Vimaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jorge Nesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 minutes, Desiderio Restu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PINGO PINGO and the Alzaga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, PINGO PINGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Restu to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Alzaga FC defense, Desiderio Restu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Nesto. The Alzaga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Nesto should have stopped the shot. Alzaga FC's Natalio Elivareo was substituted for Salvador Quirze. Alzaga FC's Humberto Manilan was substituted for Pedro Salamon. In the 67th minute, Felipe Vimaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 played minutes Alzaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Placido Lia. 73 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Erdiano came free, but Serafin Maurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Lia in the 76th minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Serafin Maurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Alzaga FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Alzaga FC's Placido Lia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Serafin Maurino made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Placido Lia sent off a good shot on target. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
