After some careless play in the Alzaga FC defense, Angelino Edwardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conan Ledesma. The Alzaga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conan Ledesma should have stopped the shot. Miguel Laurentzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Salamon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to TIBURON F.C getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Nemesio Herena hit a great ball. Pedro Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Laurentzi having to interfere. Miguel Laurentzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Salamon's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, TIBURON F.C's Omar Celino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conan Ledesma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of TIBURON F.C booed when Alzaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Lia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Placido Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Laurentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Abella in the 38th minute of play forced TIBURON F.C's goalkeeper Miguel Laurentzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Laurentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Quirze in the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, TIBURON F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Celino to maneuver through the defense. In the 45thth minute of the game Celedonio Erdiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TIBURON F.C's Miguel Laurentzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miguel Laurentzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Salamon in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Alzaga FC made a substitution. Humberto Manilan replaced Pedro Salamon. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Celino made a kick off. Salvador Quirze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Laurentzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Erdiano in the 60th minute. TIBURON F.C's Miguel Laurentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Erdiano in the 62nd minute of play. Matias Abella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Laurentzi having to interfere. Alzaga FC's Natalio Elivareo was substituted for Salvador Quirze. Miguel Laurentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The supporters of Alzaga FC booed when TIBURON F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Walker didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Celedonio Erdiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Laurentzi. TIBURON F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celedonio Erdiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Omar Celino scored 3-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conan Ledesma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute Placido Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Laurentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Cristian Ortle in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Alzaga FC's Matias Abella. TIBURON F.C's Miguel Laurentzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save TIBURON F.C from getting a goal against them. Alzaga FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
