The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, SE Tijolo 6 Furos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. In the 4thth minute of the game Victoriano Sazon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Luís Gustavo Bueno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Gustavo Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Berto in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, La Candela FC's Victoriano Sazon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Gustavo Bueno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Berto came free, but Luís Gustavo Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Juarês Antunes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benigno Guillem. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. 25 minutes into the match, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Sazon came free, but Luís Gustavo Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Arias. Ulisses Siqueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Sazon came free, but Luís Gustavo Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Victoriano Sazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tiburcio Bonadona took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Gustavo Bueno. Luís Gustavo Bueno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 42 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Berto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Gustavo Bueno. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulgencio Berto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 47 minutes into the game, La Candela FC's Amadeo Su nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Gustavo Bueno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice moves Fulgencio Berto could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Luís Gustavo Bueno however easily saved by the left post. Luís Gustavo Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Berto in the 54th minute. The supporters of SE Tijolo 6 Furos booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Bonadona didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, La Candela FC's Fulgencio Berto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Victoriano Sazon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the game, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Zico Goiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Guillem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. In the 65th match minute, SE Tijolo 6 Furos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. La Candela FC's Vicente Gerazan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luís Gustavo Bueno but with some difficulty. Victoriano Sazon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Luís Gustavo Bueno made a huge save. Fulgencio Berto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Luís Gustavo Bueno made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Sazon came free, but Luís Gustavo Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Berto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Luís Gustavo Bueno made a huge save. In the 86th minute Tiburcio Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Sarmento in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Guillem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiburcio Bonadona got free with Luís Gustavo Bueno in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 minutes of play, La Candela FC's Fulgencio Berto made it 2-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Gustavo Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! The SE Tijolo 6 Furos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Candela FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
