Luis Díaz started the match with the kick off. Gustaf Rudberg came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by MILLONARIOS FC's Luis Díaz. But to his dismay, Luis Díaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Luis Díazs short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Gustaf Rudberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gustaf Rudberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Mercadillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 41st minute, Fidencio Cendegui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to MILLONARIOS FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Iván Cordoba hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in MILLONARIOS FC's zone, Algot Månsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleazar Betzanos came out of the goal and Algot Månsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustaf Rudberg made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Luis Díaz sent off a good shot on target. When Luis Díaz in the 48th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gustaf Rudberg kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Otto Brask was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Luis Díaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustaf Rudberg was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After 58 minutes, Luis Díaz made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. AC United's Gustaf Rudberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute Luis Díaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Rudberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The MILLONARIOS FC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when MILLONARIOS FC's Luis Díaz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 78 minutes into the game, MILLONARIOS FC's Luis Díaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustaf Rudberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 81st minute Luis Díaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Rudberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaf Rudberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Díaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Luis Díaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustaf Rudberg was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Algot Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The supporters of AC United booed when MILLONARIOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maties Toranzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. MILLONARIOS FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AC United for a fine match.
