Kiko Senna started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Jeremias Marko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Irreal Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Marko came free, but Allan Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Marko in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Allan Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Bernad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in DREAM TEAM WORLD's zone, William Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Ogazón came out of the goal and William Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 minutes, Eduardo Chayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DREAM TEAM WORLD and the Irreal Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, DREAM TEAM WORLD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Chayo to maneuver through the defense. When Jeremias Marko came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the DREAM TEAM WORLD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Marko couldn't finish the play. Irreal Madrid's Allan Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Bernad in the 23rd minute of play. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Bonifacio Mitxaut managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luís Fabiano Dracena in the 25 minute of the game. In the 26th minute Cecilio Bernad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DREAM TEAM WORLD were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Irreal Madrid's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicanor Mede took the corner. Ademir Chaves hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Irreal Madrid's Allan Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Mede in the 30th minute of play. Cecilio Bernad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Irreal Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Macedo. DREAM TEAM WORLD's attentive Melchor Endura managed to snatch the ball when Luís Fabiano Dracena made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias Marko to make the kick off. Amado Ogazón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Endura charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melchor Endura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Melchor Endura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Luís Fabiano Dracena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Ogazón. DREAM TEAM WORLD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Fabiano Dracena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 56th minute, Cecilio Bernad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Jeremias Marko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Allan Barbosa. The goal made the score 1-1. The throw-in from Ademir Chaves in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by DREAM TEAM WORLD's Bonifacio Mitxaut. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Couto in the 75th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Amado Ogazón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Marko got free with Allan Barbosa in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th match minute, Irreal Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías de Castro to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to DREAM TEAM WORLD getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cecilio Bernad hit a great ball. If Jeremias Marko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Irreal Madrid were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
