Juan Montenegro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calistrat Potopea went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bogdan Stelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Stelea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cido Paranaense in the 34th minute. With a little luck, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Bogdan Stelea got control of the ball when Marcelo Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Șerban Rusu in the 37th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Mangueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Juan Montenegro threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Octav Baldovin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Juan Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Potopea in the 60th minute of the match. Guilherme Simões's late challenge caught a F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guilherme Simões helped the player get up and apologised. 62 minutes into the game, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Cătălin Barbăroșie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 70 minutes into the match, Brazil Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Teodoreanu came free, but Juan Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Șerban Rusu's late challenge caught a Brazil Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calistrat Potopea had several of the Brazil Academy's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Juan Montenegro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Marcelo Mangueira took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Stelea. Bogdan Stelea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
