An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Irimescu in the 39th minute of play forced Laziali's goalkeeper Nikola Drinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Naum Mentov came free, but Bogdan Stelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráuzio Recife's late challenge caught a F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikola Drinov made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Cătălin Barbăroșie sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th match minute, Laziali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Groshkov to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to F.C CLUJ MEDICINA getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cătălin Barbăroșie hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
